Welcome to our new School Resource Officer (SRO), Deputy Nigel Hunter!  Deputy Hunter began his career with the Chelan County Sheriff's Office in 2015 after finishing his career as a teacher with the Wenatchee High School where he taught social studies and coached the varsity soccer team.  Deputy Hunter has been the SRO in Chelan and Manson School Districts for five years while also serving in other capacities; marine patrol, marine patrol instructor, swift water rescue, and search and rescue.

When Deputy Hunter is not working, he enjoys time with his family and water sports.  Overall, Deputy Hunter is an amazing asset to the Sheriff's Office and does not hesitate to share his training, knowledge, and experience with the communities in which he serves.  The Sheriff's Office is very excited to have him serving in the new role as the CSD SRO and continuing to foster a safe and effective learning environment for all.
